About Your Functional Pharmacist

My name is Gina Stevenson. I am a true Floridian at heart despite being born in New York to a rather large, traditional Italian family.

I feel the most serenity when I am wrapped in sunshine and surrounded by the ocean.

I earned my Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University. While I have always had a passion for wellness and biochemistry, it wasn't until pharmacy school that I realized how many chronic diseases could be reversed or prevented, simply by nourishing the body with what it needs. After the birth of my daughter, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I refused to believe that this disease just popped out of nowhere and for no reason. I reached out to friends in the functional medicine space and used my biochemistry knowledge to figure out what I was missing in these biological pathways. Several years later, I have no clinical or pathological signs of autoimmune dysfunction!

The thought of starting my own wellness clinic came after curing myself (and my children - more to come on that later). Friends & family took notice and began to ask me to look over their lab results and discover what they were missing at the cellular level - and could easily supplement to improve their health. It was the best decision I could have made.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming in the pool and bouncing on the trampoline with my children, Aiden & Abigail, or hosting a gathering for friends & family with my husband, Chris. I thrive when I am surrounded by the people I love. My family spends most of our time out on the water, boating & fishing.
